Allen Douglas Boyd Sr.

JENNINGS Mr. Allen D. Boyd, Sr., 61, died at 1:25 p.m., Saturday, October 18, 2014 in the Allen Oaks Nursing Home in Oakdale. Mr. Boyd’s body was cremated and a private memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Boyd was a lifelong resident of Oakdale and was an appliance tech. Survivors include one daughter, Selene Bronson of Iowa; one son Allen “Tito” Boyd, Jr. of Lake Charles and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Thelma Green Boyd, Sr.
