Adela Deleon

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Adela Rose Deleon, a devoted mother, loving wife, and cherished friend, who left this world on December 22, 2025, at the age of 57.

Born on August 16, 1968, in Chicago Heights, IL, Adela spent her life as a dedicated homemaker, nurturing her family with love, humor, and her signature sarcasm that brought joy to those around her. She was the adored daughter of Manuel Vasquez and Mary Adams Vasquez.Her spirit will live on through the lives of her loved ones.

Throughout her life, Adela held a deep love for animals and crafts, skillfully creating heartfelt treasures for her family and friends. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering commitment to her family will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.

Adela's greatest pride was her family, which includes her beloved husband, Daniel Ramos; and her cherished daughters, Crystal Trevino and Shannon Vasquez (Alejandro Alonzo), and Rena Gomez (Erik); her brother, Andrew Lopez; her cherished grandchildren, Isaiah Trevino, Mark Trevino, Jr., Nicholas Trevino, Raymond Martinez, Jesse Farias, Mariah Farias, Kingston Alonzo, Kataleya Alonzo, Kylianna Alonzo, Erik Gomez, Jr., Jaysen Gomez, TJ Regalado, Nevaeh Gomez, Arizona Gomez, and Ciara Gomez; great grandchildren, Mireya Farias and Lavina Farias.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandchild, Andrew Farias.

A private burial service was held in St. Anthony Cemetery in Lake Arthur, LA, on December 23, 2025, at 1:00 PM.
