Aaron Dupuis

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Aaron Scott Dupuis, aged 38, who left us on July 16, 2025. Born on October 4, 1986, in Kinder, Louisiana, Aaron lived a life full of passion and dedication. He was amazing, husband, father, brother and son. His family meant the world to him. He made his home in Lake Arthur, where he enjoyed the simple pleasures of life like working on the farm, hunting in the great outdoors, crawfishing, and raising animals.

Aaron was not just a skilled driller in the environmental industry, employed by Jesco, but he was also a faithful man of God who cherished his time in church and loved worshiping Jesus. His spirit was as big as his heart, and he touched the lives of many with his kindness and warmth.

He is survived by his beloved spouse, Brittany Ducote, and his two wonderful children, Ayden Dupuis and Serenity Ducote. Aaron is also survived by his loving parents, Gloria (Joseph) Smith and Winston (Renee) Dupuis, his siblings Kyle Dupuis, Christopher (Jade) Young, Tori (Trevor) Trahan, Landon McGee, and Rhett Vito, as well as his cherished grandmother, Joan Kibodeaux.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Aaron's life during the public viewing, which will be held at Miguez Funeral Home in Lake Arthur on July 21, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will follow at the same location at 2:00 PM with Brother Austin Spell officiating. Aaron will be laid to rest at Andrus Cove Cemetery on the same day.

Aaron was preceded in death by his brother, Jayce Dupuis; maternal grandparents Gloria and Joseph Roy Sexton; paternal grandfather, Winston Dupuis, Sr; and his great grandfather Forrest Kidodeaux.

Pallbearers will be Travis Dupuis, Cody Dupuis, Trevor Trahan, Landon McGee, Christopher Young, and Michael Dupuis.

We will forever hold Aaron in our hearts and memories, celebrating his love for life, his family, and his faith. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
