Funeral services for Mr. Richard LaBouve, 71 will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2012 in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Starkovich officiating. Mr. LaBouve will be cremated.

Funeral home visitation will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012 from 8:30 am until the time of service.

Mr. LaBouve died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012 at 4:40 a.m. at his residence.

He was a native and lifelong resident of Jennings, worked as a tool pusher and was a World War II Army veteran. Mr. LaBouve loved to do gardening and mow the lawn.

Mr. LaBouve is survived by three daughters; Gloria Blanchard of Jennings, Tonya Gotte of Evangeline and Carrie LaBouve of Sulphur, five sisters; Eula Mae Rousell of Iowa, Pearl Mallett of Iowa, Jean Castille of Sulphur, Louella Muller of Beaumont, TX, Ann Doucet of Beaumont,a brother, Wilford LaBouve, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Hubert and Ida Laviolette LaBouve, a son; Richard LaBouve, Jr. and six brothers; Earl LaBouve, Herbert LaBouve, Nelson LaBouve, Fernest LaBouve, Ernest LaBouve, and Emerson LaBouve, a grandson, Cory LaBouve and a sister, Eunice Seamon.
